Newly-formed Judiciary Reform Task Force Strikes Blow Against Illegal Foreclosures in Maryland

house_symbol.pngWednesday (Dec.  2) a group of activists organized by a new Judiciary Task Force successfully halted an illegal foreclosure sale. Following a concerted effort by policy experts, a federal mortgage fraud whistleblower, and an intrepid group of interfaith leaders, Progressive Maryland was able to stop a sale scheduled for 11:30am.

Progressive Maryland celebrates wins of endorsed candidates, ballot measures statewide

voting_arrow.jpgProgressive Maryland volunteers campaigned for progressive candidates across the state leading up to Election Day 2020, including urging smart mail-in voting during the pandemic. In Baltimore City and in the second-largest county, Prince George's city council and school board candidates endorsed by Progressive Maryland were swept to victory. Read all about it here.
