Fight For $15 at the 2017 Montgomery County Budget Forum

Progressive Maryland activists and affiliates rally at the Montgomery County Council Building to demand $15 nowCounty Executive Ike Leggett has the opportunity to approve legislation raising the minimum wage for working families in Montgomery County. Instead, he's voiced opposition to the bill and claimed he won't sign it as it is currently written.

Workers in Montgomery County and their families don't have time to wait for a fair wage. That's why we will be present as Executive Leggett hosts the annual open forum on the County Budget.

Join us as we demand County Executive Leggett sign Bill 12-16 to raise the wage to $15 by 2020–no exceptions and no excuses!
