Introducing Blue Wicomico For Wicomico Democratic Central Committee: A Progressive Future.

It is our pleasure to introduce ourselves as the Blue Wicomico Team. We are a group of candidates running for seats on the Wicomico County Democratic Central Committee who share similar backgrounds, believe in similar policies, and ultimately hope to be elected and serve together.

Many of us are both university students and members of the Lower Shore Progressive Caucus (LSPC). Members of our group include three females and four males. Carissa Antonis is the President of the College Democrats of Salisbury University and an intern for the MD Democratic Party. Michele Gregory is the Communications Committee Chair of the LSPC and a candidate for Wicomico County Council. Crystal Jones is Liaison for the LSPC and the Vice President of the College Democrats.wicomico_lower_shore_art.png

Jake Burdett is a Salisbury University political science student and an intern for the City of Salisbury. Matt Davidson is an undergraduate student at SU, studying political science. Jared Schablein is a Shore native and the Chairman of the LSPC. Ivory Smith is the Vice President of Worcester County’s NAACP.

Together, our goal is to reform the Democratic Party of Wicomico County by increasing our community involvement and ensuring politicians represent their constituents accordingly. We plan to address the social, economic, and environmental issues that our county is facing. We look forward to the upcoming election and can’t wait to represent the people of Wicomico County. Together, we will be heard.
