Progressive Montgomery is developing into an independent chapter of Progressive Maryland. And we're forming district teams to ensure we address the needs of all residents within the county.

The first meeting for Progressive Montgomery's Upcounty team will be Monday, April 17 at 6:30 pm in the cafe area of the Germantown Wegman's.

We will be discussing the 2017 Maryland General Assembly session's successes and failures on progressive issues, talking about various issues of local concern, and plotting out what will be the core areas of focus for our chapter.

We will also be planning carpools to Shady Grove to attend the Science March in DC on Earth Day, April 22 to oppose the anti-science actions and positions of the Trump administration.
