Neighborhood Listening Session

Liquid error: Internal error

Recently, The Department of Justice has relaxed its civil rights and criminal justice policies on police conduct. In lewd, of countless of officer misconduct here in Baltimore City and throughout the nation. The mistrust between these communities have high stakes. Baltimore is faced with the collateral damage of 2/3's of its residents filled in city jails and state prisons. How did we get here? What will it take to build better relationships between citizens and  the justice department and police officers- sworn to protect and serve the community.

We can find common sense practices of: mutual respect and accountability, officer training,  and community civic participation.

Progressive Maryland, Baltimore Chapter will bring together the community to discuss these issues and the impact of Mass Incarceration and ways by which we want to see change! Come let your Voice Be Heard. #BeMoreHeard

ps: Light Refreshments will be served.
