For the last year, we've been talking to Maryland residents about the issues that matter most to them. We've broken through partisan divides by engaging people we met in conversation about their values and vision for their communities to identify common ground.
We're returning to communities all across the state to canvass on these issues and talk to people about our chosen candidates, from western Maryland, to the DC suburbs, to the Eastern Shore!
On the weekend of February 24th and 25th, Progressive Maryland will be having our second MONTHLY MASS CANVASSES all over the state!
We will be canvassing for progressive values and to elect our endorsed candidates, including:
Gubernatorial Candidate Ben Jealous
No matter where you are, there's an opportunity for you to join us!

Note: NationBuilder does not store credit card numbers. When a person donates, purchases event tickets, or pays an invoice, you may provide a credit card number (and related information) as part of his payment details. This information is securely collected on an HTTPS-secured screen. [NationBuilder] immediately connect and retransmit the credit card data to your payment processor and rely on that provider to authorize and charge the credit card. While [NationBuilder] may retain the last four digits of the card and the billing address, [it] does not store the full card number nor the CVV code.
The Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council (PCI SSC) developed regulations to ensure credit card processing security. NationBuilder only uses PCI-compliant payment processors to process credit card transactions. Rest assured, the payment processors and every other entity involved in a credit card transaction meets or exceeds PCI data security standards. Currently, NationBuilder uses SHA-256 encryption and Verisign G5.
Progressive Prince George's brings together residents and activists from all over the county to collaborate for a better quality of life for all Prince Georgians. As a member-driven, community-based organization, we provide access to training and tools to empower all of our members to take on the issues they care about in their neighborhoods.
Progressive Prince George's members take on a variety of issues. Our current campaigns and volunteer led issue areas include:
Criminal Justice Reform
Immigrant Rights and Protection
Fair Elections - On all levels of government there is a a feeling that our elected officials are not solely accountable to the people who voted them into office. Our elected representatives are also accountable to wealthy donors and special interests that fund their campaigns. Progressive Prince George's is working to ensure everyday people have a bigger voice in our elections. We are urging the county council to introduce, support, and pass legislation that will create a small donor matching program. It will give candidates an opportunity to reject big donor, special interest money and amplify the voice of everyday residents through a tiered donation matching system.

Organizing Co-Op - Progressive Maryland launched a 75-day campaign to get 200 or more residents to pledge $20-30 per month to hire a full-time organizer. Residents will form a steering committee and decide which issues they want to work on. The organizer will work diligently to train and develop leaders within the county and organize people around the co-op’s core issues to make a greater impact in Prince George’s.
