Progressive Maryland membership dues are $10 per month. As a Progressive Maryland member you are part of a community that fights to redistribute political power to all people. Together we have a collective voice to speak our shared values of ending structural racism, oppression, classism, sexism, mass incarceration and deportation.
Together we endorse and support candidates and policies that ensure everyone’s right to quality education, health care, a livable environment, housing, safety and justice, regardless of economic background, immigration status, gender or ethnicity.
Why your membership matters.
Membership directly impacts our economic and political independence. Progressive Maryland can be flexible, nimble and take risks with our work because we’re accountable to our members and not corporate donors. We’re able to fight to transform the politics in Maryland and build independent political power for our communities.
Membership dues allow us to not be beholden to large money donations or corporations and allows members to have a say in the candidates we support, the issues we fight for and the momentum of our community.

Progressive Prince George's brings together residents and activists from all over the county to collaborate for a better quality of life for all Prince Georgians. As a member-driven, community-based organization, we provide access to training and tools to empower all of our members to take on the issues they care about in their neighborhoods.
Progressive Prince George's members take on a variety of issues. Our current campaigns and volunteer led issue areas include:
Criminal Justice Reform
Immigrant Rights and Protection
Fair Elections - On all levels of government there is a a feeling that our elected officials are not solely accountable to the people who voted them into office. Our elected representatives are also accountable to wealthy donors and special interests that fund their campaigns. Progressive Prince George's is working to ensure everyday people have a bigger voice in our elections. We are urging the county council to introduce, support, and pass legislation that will create a small donor matching program. It will give candidates an opportunity to reject big donor, special interest money and amplify the voice of everyday residents through a tiered donation matching system.

Organizing Co-Op - Progressive Maryland launched a 75-day campaign to get 200 or more residents to pledge $20-30 per month to hire a full-time organizer. Residents will form a steering committee and decide which issues they want to work on. The organizer will work diligently to train and develop leaders within the county and organize people around the co-op’s core issues to make a greater impact in Prince George’s.
