1-Day Movement Politics Campaign Training

Progressive Maryland Friends and Family,

We are having a free Movement Politics Leadership Training in Silver Spring, Maryland at the Progressive Maryland office. Movement politics is the process of fighting for a democracy where people - not corporations - set the agenda, and where we all have a voice. We are looking for people to help with both issue and electoral campaigns to win victories all Maryland. Please RSVP here.

In towns and neighborhoods across the country, we hold conversations with voters about the issues of the day and the world we’re fighting to build. We train volunteers to knock on neighbors’ doors and transform their communities into a force at the polls. We ask candidates tough questions and secure policy commitments. And, crucially, we help leaders in our movement transition from community activists to elected office, transforming our political system town by town and state by state.

Our training will teach you the skills to move people around the issues!

Holiday Update: Yom Kippur

Thank you for writing to express your concern with the scheduling of our September Movement Politics training on Yom Kippur. Because of the limited weekends on which our trainers are available, we needed to schedule one of our training on September 30. However, our announcement neglected to note the conflict with the high holiday and the fact that we will be holding a second session on October 28 for those who aren't able to attend the September date. We sincerely regret this omission. We appreciate your support in ensuring that we connect respectfully with our diverse communities across the state.
