Healthcare Justice Campaign:Â
Our Summer To Do List For You:
– Join hundreds of Marylanders who are demanding accountability from the healthcare industry. They need to cease and desist when it comes to wrongful claim denials and withholding approval for the care people need: Sign our petition.
Â
- Share your experience or if you know someone who has been battling their insurer about a claim denial or prior approval tell us about it in a survey linked here.Â
Â
- Come knock doors with us in July! We’re kicking into high gear after the 4th of July holiday. We’re doing shifts on July 8 and 9 and on the following weekend, too. Drop Patty a note and she’ll give you the details. If your local group or association is interested in healthcare issues, let us know! We can send someone to talk about the problems, solutions and what folks can do about it.
Â
– Learn more about the Care Over Cost campaign at a national virtual Teach-In on July 26th. Look for a sign up link next week. Thank you for taking action!Â

State and National News:
Here’s an invite to the broadcast of the People’s Action Organizing Revival starting Sunday evening and live from Arlington Va. Progressive Maryland members and volunteers will be on hand. In honor of the People’s Action event (which will preoccupy PM folks early in the week) we’d send out News You Can Use a little early, along with the Memo. How many worries can you put up with at once? How many must you? The answer isn’t pretty no matter where on the ladder you (precariously) are perched. Read on in News You Can Use for this week.Â
