    Racism Has No Place in Maryland

    Progressive Maryland is calling for Harford County Delegate Mary Ann Lisanti to resign or be expelled following both an allegation of racist speech and her tone deaf statements after the revelation of the original incident.

    Lisanti has lost her ability to credibly represent the people of her district and make policy for all Marylanders. Anyone who disrespects African Americans -- as she clearly does -- has no business serving in the Maryland General Assembly.

    Issues pending before the Maryland General Assembly have serious implications for people of color. Based on her comments, Lisanti shouldn’t vote on these measures.

    Tell Angela Alsobrooks to Return the Developer Dollars

    Progressive Maryland issued a call to the Angela Alsobrooks campaign to cease accepting contributions from developers, their attorneys, and their lobbyists. The organization is also demanding that the Alsobrooks campaign return any contributions she has already accepted by May 30th 2018. Progressive Maryland is giving the Alsobrooks campaign three days to issue a response to this request. Sign our petition below to tell Angela Alsobrooks that Prince Georgians are tired of large corporations and developers thinking they can buy elections in our County.
