The Montgomery County Council will be hearing public comment on their bill to raise the County minimum wage to $15 per hour, but the current bill leaves out tipped workers who make a subminimum wage of only $4.00 per hour. Tipped workers deserve a raise too!
Industry groups are expected to turn out in force against the wage increase, so it is imperative that council members see broad public support at the hearing. Help us pack the council chamber to ensure justice for workers.
