Join other Montgomery County progressives as we connect with residents in the Wheaton area!

We'll be spending the afternoon in the neighborhoods adjacent to Wheaton Forest Park, talking with residents about the issues that matter to them. Deep canvassing gives us an opportunity not just to share information, but to engage the people we meet in conversation about their values and their vision for their community.

Canvassers will gather at a residence in the neighborhood; exact meet up details will be sent to those who sign up. There will be a short canvass orientation at 12 noon, followed by a two-hour shift of door-knocking. Canvassers will return to the start location by 2:45 to wrap up the event.

Please be sure to bring the following:

• A fully charged mobile device with the MiniVAN app downloaded onto it (available on Google Play and the App Store)
• A backup battery or charging device may be helpful if you have it
• A water bottle
• Sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat and/or anything else you need to help you stay cool
